I did my PhD research on a site called Langebaanweg. It holds a special place in my heart. Probably my biggest regret in leaving full time research was stopping our study on this site, at a point when it finally felt like we were starting to gain momentum. But I guess that is life.
I recently wrote an article (in three parts – because there was just no possible way to summarise it all down into less) about the site as a blog post for the PalaeoCast website. They do great podcasts featuring interviews with working palaeontologists on a vast array of topics and if you have any interest in the subject its a great place to start.
